Sea World

Sea world has come a long way since it's conception in 1962 when four fraternity brothers in California had the idea to build a restaurant in San Diego. They felt that it should also offer some kind of marine animal show. The restaurant opened in 1964 and since then Sea World has grown into more than one theme park where children and adults alike can marvel at the wonders of the vast seas occupying our planet. One of these theme parks exists in Orlando, Florida and is the home of several rides such as Journey to Atlantis and Kraken as well as animal adventures such as Dolphin Cove, Stingray Lagoon and Turtle Point where you are allowed to interact with the animals. Sea World generally opens at 9:00 am and closes at 7:00pm except during summer and holidays when they go until 10:00pm. Call 407-351-3600 for Sea World park information. Sea world is located approximately mid-way between Disney and Downtown Orlando and is in the same vicinity as Universal Studios and the International Drive area. Transportation is easily found and Central Florida Tours will be more than happy to assist you. We will help you avoid the hassle of parking and finding your way to the appropriate entrances and exits. It good to get there early and plan you trip ahead of time. Universal Studio

Universal Studio began as a nickelodeon or arcade where folks went to see short movie loops. Its owner then went into the movie making business and the Universal Studio grew into a 230 acre ranch in Los Angeles where tours were given to the public so that people could see how movies were made.
Universal Studio Orlando was opened in 1990 and although it is set on only 110 acres of land it is closer to downtown Orlando and the International Drive areas. The complex also includes hotels, City Walk, the nighttime attraction and the newer Islands of adventure, also set on 110 acres. Some special attractions include Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights. The rides and entertainment at Universal studio tend to be a little edgier and many rides will get you good and wet so you might want to bring a change of clothes or wear a bathing suit if it's warm enough.
There is one central parking lot for the Universal Studio Complex, and covered parking and moving sidewalks make getting into the attraction fairly easy. Transportation is also readily available to and from the parks and it is wise to make these arrangements with the driver who picks you up at the airport, so that you will be able to plan your schedule to fit the needs of your group.
